American Red Cross

The American Red Cross has served the people of Kansas City and Western Missouri for more than 100 years.
Their mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
They provide response to disaster victims, emergency communications for military families, preparedness information, international tracing services, and training in first aid, CPR and water safety. They also collect and distribute life-saving blood products.
While American Red Cross volunteers are likely to go anywhere in America when a major disaster strikes, the American Red Cross of Southern Missouri routinely serves the following 29 counties: Barry, Barton, Carter, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Howell, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Oregon, Ozark, Polk, Reynolds, Ripley, St. Clair, Shannon, Stone, Taney, Texas, Vernon, Webster, and Wright.
Volunteers are answering the call 24/7/365. If you have an immediate need due to a fire or other natural disaster, or you need assistance from their Service to the Armed Forces program such as emergency communications, please call their toll free number: 1-866-206-0256
