Arthritis, which affects more than 50 million American adults and 300,000 children under the age of 18, is a chronic disease that has devastating consequences.  The Arthritis Foundation is leading the way to conquer this disease; it is the nation’s leading cause of disability. They raise awareness through increased education, outreach, research, advocacy, and other vital programs and services.
